An island is a place that changes as its limits are always redefined by the growing or shrinking of its coastline. 

An island distinguishes itself from all those that surround it for some particular characters.

 

ISLAND \ ˈī-lənd \  is a section that consists in highlighting a series of works by contemporary jewelry artists within the space of the gallery providing them with a special display. 

“PORTRAITS OF AN INNER UNIVERSE“ is a complete new series of works in correspondence to roles in life and the possibility to respond to them.

“There is beauty in the ambivalence of heaviness and lightness and the relationship between permanence and fragility. On this occasion, I require the materials to educe a special atmosphere, a sentiment. This happens through spontaneity and intuition.” Isabel Dammermann
